Did not know he was a womanizer (all those kids?). Nevertheless, if Michael Irvin is in there and Lawrence Taylor (I'm a HUGE Giants fan but no one can deny his trainwreck lifestyle) is in, that shouldn't stop Derrick Thomas.

He has the career stats that warrant a Hall of Fame selection, maybe not a first or second year selection, but he should get it down the line.

If his life hadn't been cut short he might very well have put up enough stats to be in the hall of fame but tragedies happen. And his passing was a tragedy for football fans and his families ( man whore) as well.

He may still get in. What was this his second year of eligability. It took Irving much longer to get in and he has like 3 superbowl rings.

No. He was a great pass rushing LB, not a great overall LB. He was really more of a glorified DE.
