I am attracted to questions that are a part of my history. By answering the question I put on "paper" how I feel. I find clarity in expressing myself. I only ask questions when I am looking for new information about a given subject. At present, in my life, I'm just seeking clarity for what has brought me this far. I've fallen apart enough times that I'm just trying to understand the pieces I have left rather than add new ones.

Answering also gives me the chance to put a positive spin on the negative things in my life. "This is what I did." right or wrong... Do you want to do that?

Perhaps there is not an open question on their mind? Perhaps they like to help out others?
I'm not asking a lot of questions since I'm busy reading other questions and answers. And I learn a lot and enjoy myself.
And sometimes I answer, too.

I get on answers because I love helping people. I usually only ask a question if I really want advice from people who have experienced my problem, or I'm just bored.

I'm with Roger. Between him and I, we know everything.
I'm not good within the catagory of People or Sports
And if it is People in Sports I'm really (scre*) out of luck.
I don't have the best presentation to be on a game show.
But if you need to call a friend I'm there.

I answer because I either know the answer or know where to find it. As a result, I have no questions to ask.

...mmm...speeking for my self,..i can tell you there have been many questions i thought i might ASK,..only to find that someone else had asked it ,and the answers to there question..answered my own.
I did not feel cheated of any points, or did i feel like i would benefit if i pursued the issue...so... i just added what realizations i found, to the info already contributed...
...yes, that's kinda hypocritical,..but my appreciation is no less...

I guess we are just a bunch of know-it-alls, with no depth.
