am i too young for makeup ??

Question

im 13 years old and my mom wont let me get my eyebrows done and tehy are very thick and bushy they are the coleo black too ... very ugly and i hury frizzy adn wavy dark brow hair i have A BIG nose to .
I think i am UGLYY how do i convince my mom to let me ??

I plucked my eyebrows ever since I was 11. Buy a tweezer at the drugstore without your mom knowing or search her bathroom for one. To control that hair, buy some frizz control hair products. Try emphasizing your eyes so that your nose doesn't look that obvious, after all, your eyes are like the most important feature. Show her how mature you are. Once you start putting it on she might start to give in.

wearing make-up at 13 isn't a bad thing, but don't go too heavy. Tell her you'll let her pick it all out for you and you promise not to use dark colors or put too much on. Eye-liner is a bad thing at that age because depending on your skin tone, you could end up looking like a ****, which is what my mom told me. As for the eye brows, try using tweezers, I had the same problem. If it helps, ask if you can just do in between your eyebrows to start. then maybe you can shape them later if she decides you are mature enough. you know how parents are, very strict sometimes.
for the wavy frizzy hair, try a light gel and a good straightening iron or a blow drier.

You can try plucking your eyebrows with a tweezer. It doesn't hurt that bad, and after a while your can barely feel it. And try using frizz control shampoos/conditioners, like Herbal Essences, Pantene, etc. These work really well. Don't towel dry your hair, that can make is frizzy. Use paper towels or something like that. I don't know what you can do with your nose. Just love it for how it looks. Everybody's different. Just ask your mom if you can try some light makeup, like pale blush and lipgloss. If you listen to your rules, she may gradually give in, but she has to trust you. If she doesn't let you, just compliment your natural beauty, even if you have think you have to search hard for it. Stand in front of a mirror daily and tell yourself at least 3 things you like about yourself.

Well, I know what you mean, my mom wouldn't let me wax my eyebrows or shave my legs either. I hated it! The worst part is that you are just going to have to listen to your mom and live with it. I would ask her when she thinks you can get your eyebrows waxed so that you have something to look forward to. As far as your nose, you are not done growing, 13 is the most awkward time in your life. You will probably grow into it. In the meantime, be happy with how you look.

Ok 1st things first .... you probally ARE NOT ugly! and i was 13 when i started wearing makeup and regret it now at 23 cause i look horrible without it....i know its not what you want to hear but go as long as you can without wearing makeup. as for the eyebrows. once you start you will have to do it for the rest of your life...its the truth. so think about that if you really want to be doin that every week from here on out. i thought my mom was CRAZY for not letting me shave and pluck my eyebrows but i know that she was just saving me years that i would have to do it.

Use a shampoo that smoothes out frizzes and your only a little young for SOME make-up. For your mom do the mature thing, get some info on the internet and be persuasive. And if it helps make a deal with her.

ok well im telling u the truth now.... ur not too young for makeup but no heavy makeup... and just from school experiences [not myself] but u might wanna get ur eyebrows done maybe.. in 2years.. for now maybe u can just trim them.
back to the makeup thing... ur not too young.. but u cant wear heavy makeup im 15 now and i rly dont need makeup but i wear some.. i started when i was 13 also. ur also going through pruperty where.. ur gunna think ur ugly.. almost EVERYONE goes through that.. where they think their ugly.. it will pass... if ur worried about ur big nose makeup isnt gunna help that.. if i were you dont like get plasic surgery or anything,

I would try and convince her by sending her an e-mail or writing a letter that says you really, really want to do your eyebrows; give some good examples why too. It worked when I wanted to start using VEET for my legs. Hope I helped!!!

no your not too young for a little bit of makeup! maybe just a little mascara and lip gloss. as far as your mom just try your best to talk her into letting you pluck if you want to that bad. Hope this helps!

you can ask her to buy you a tweezer but whatever you do DO NOT TOUCH YOUR UPPER EYEBROWS!!!!! trust me you will end up looking horrible and they will never grow back right. ONLY pluck the stray hairs at the part closest to your eye. ask your mom for more information.
