I formated an MPIO portable 1.5GB Hard Disk Drive on Mac using Mac Disk Utility with MSDOS option. Now Windows XP won't read it. What do I do?

No, it won't show up Windows Explorer. It will show up in device manager.

Try and see if it shows up in "Control Panel" and "Administrative Tools".
There go to "Computer Management" and then "Disk Management".
If it shows up there you can format it under "Action" and then "All Tasks".
To format it there highlight the drive and select "Format"

Format it under Windows XP with NTFS, and if your mac side of things won't read it, then screw it and buy another HDD.

if you had left it formatted fat mac and xp could have read it you need to find someone with a utility like partition magic and format it fat again and by fat i mean fat 16
