Hey there.

I just got a call from this employer, they want me to go for a interview there tomorrow. I've never heard of them until now, anyone know anything about them, are they for real? Good company scam company? I checked out their website and it doesn't say to much, but great stuff of course I need to know the ins and outs.

Please honest opinions :

The answer above is assuming things he has no basis in fact.

I worked for AON Corp. at their Divisional office Iowa(Combined Insurance) for 3 years. They are a legitimate company, with an A+ rating (Highest/Excellent), and they have been in business for about 100 years I think.

You are most likely being interviewed for a Sales Rep. position, unless they have a Regional or Divisional office in your area ..... then it's possible they could be hiring for a staff position. If you are considering a career in sales with AON, I would suggest working for a District Manager in Health Care Sales or Life Insurance, since they work off leads from current A&H policyholders, which means you wouldn't be cold-canvassing.

Hope this helps clarify things.

Best of luck in your interview : )

I believe that company is a recruiter or headhunter. So they are interviewing you to determine your skills so they can match you up with employers looking for folks like you. These kind of companies play middle-man and collect a referal fee fromthe hiring company once you are hired. Be careful with these fools because if they have an opportunity that suits you but the company won't pay their fee, they won't push for you to get the interview with the company. Also they'll push as many candidates as possible regardless of whether the position is a good fit to a company that is willing to pay their referal fee.
