I got off of my period 2 weeks ago, and I'm starting to bleed again. I'm almost 23 years old, and I started my period when I was 10, and my periods have ALWAYS been regular. I just don't understand what could be causing this. I'm to embarassed to go to the doctor, I mean what do I tell them when I make an appointment? If anyone knows what could be causing this please let me know. I'm not doing anything different. I've been on the pill for almost 7 years, and I have never had any problems with it, so I don't know what it could be.

Even though you have been on the same pill for almost 7 years maybe there is something that changed with your hormones. Other reasons are stress, low thyroid levels, infections or any recent procedures. Call your doctors office and ask to speak to a nurse and explain whats going on.

properly i do no longer think of it fairly is something intense. i assume distinctive woman's have distinctive colorings. My colorings now and back replace. Like a dark crimson while it first starts, to a universal crimson while it rather is interior the direction of it. however the bleeding is brought about by skill of the liberating of an egg. The liberating of an egg is termed ovulation. It occurs approximately 2 weeks in the previous you start up your era. After it rather is released, the egg travels alongside the fallopian tube in the direction of the uterus (often called the womb). lots of the time, the egg isn't fertilized by skill of a male's sperm and it dissolves. while this occurs, the lining of the uterus isn't mandatory, so it leaves your physique interior the direction of the vagina as a reddish fluid containing blood. it rather is your era. :-)

This needs to be evaluated by a dr, you just let them know that you want to be checked to see if you might have an infection going.

Some kinds of infections can have bleeding as a symptom.

irregular time period due to stress, changes (that Doc needs to know about) to the body, illness - choose one

I'd still tell the doctor GYN. It is *your* body after all.
