Does anyone info about executive order 11246(affirmative action)?

anything i find about it just seems to be the actual text from it. i need sort of the history of it, its impact on the society, and how it continues on today. anyone know where i could find info? maybe you have some info to share?

Executive Order 11246 appears to be about EQUAL employment opportunity. Affirmative Action is, by definition, about UNEQUAL opportunity.
