who ever said that your hair will grow back thicker is completely wrong. that is a complete lie. see article attached. If this were true, every man who were going bald now should immediately start shaving their heads....it will grow back thicker and darker. yeah, that will happen.
shaving is an optical illusion by taking a very fine tip hair and giving it a blunt cut at the skin surface, there by making the hair appear thicker, when it is just the same as before.
Personally I have gone with the laser hair removal and have been quite pleased. I have a few stray hairs left and usually remove them with my trusty norelco electric razor.

First of all, whoever told you that a razor can pull hair from the roots lied. The razor only sweeps the hair off the skin. It does not go deep into the hair follicle to remove it from the roots.
If you are interested in removing the hair from the roots, waxing, sugaring or tweezing is the way to go. Of course then there is electrolysis and lazer hair removal but it is far more expensive and has its own risks.
Out of all the hair removal methods mentioned, the razor and tweezing will make the hair grow back darker and thicker.
Depilatory is the best way to go for the upper lip. Try Sally Hansen's Facial Hair Remover or any other brand you prefer. The hair growth color and texture will not be altered by this hair removing method.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE RAZOR!
Hope this helps and good luck!

Yeah I know about those devices that roll around an pull out hairs. Apparently that and waxing can cut down on hair growth, it may not be enough to notice. You can get electolysis, but it is painful and takes multiple treaments. You can use a cream called Emla that you have to get a prescription from your doctor for that.

Yes, it will come back darker and thicker. Try using Nair Sensitive Skin for face. It is awesome and will remove the hair while leaving your skin smooth (and it doesn't burn). It is a little bit more expensive but worth it.

If you go to a specialist you can get the hair lazer removed and it wont grow back for a really really really long time.
If you use the razor, it will come back more thicker and more of it will come.
Hope this Helps!

Definitely don't shave it. Try get it threaded, which pulls the hair from the root and causes it to grow in thinner.

think about this: guys shave every day and it comes back thicker. Never shave hair unless you want it thicker.
