Is NH3 (3 is a subscript =]) a ionic bond or covalent bond? I think its covalent but im not to sure. help. thnxs.

It is a covalent bond. Two ways to tell this are:
1) An ionic bond is between a metal and nonmetal.
2) Use the electronegativity values for the two atoms involved in the bond. Subtract the two values and see which range the answer falls into. Nonpolar covalent = 0-1.4 Polar covalent = 1.5-2.7 Ionic is over 2.7

Bonds within molecules are covalent bonds. in the case, the bonds between the N and H's are covalent.

Bonds between molecules are ionic. When the NH3 molecule reacts with and attachs to something it forms an ionic bond
