Not lava volcanoes like the ones we see now, but volcanoes of water, hot steamy water ejected into the surounding near space to creat an atmosphere.
Hydrogen molecules form our atmosphere, especialy the outer ring wich protect us from the suns violent solar rays and wind.

No, the oxygenation of the Earth's atmosphere can be attributed to the Ordovician aged stromatoporids or blue green algae. It is very well documented in the rock record of this time

hydrogen volcanoes did help create the ozone layer, but they were not the only ones that acutaly created it, during the ordovican period, algae in the sea released more bacteria in the air, however that would not have happend if there wasn't any hydrogen volcanoes on this planet. today were sheltered by the bacteria that protects us from the harmful rays, but that is so disintegrating...

What do you mean by Hydrogen Volcanoes? any volcano releases hot steam.
As for your question, it was volcanoes and photosynthetic organisms such as cyanobacteria that created the atmosphere 4.4 billion years ago.

No, not exclusively. Many gasses and minerals are released by volcanoes. Water is mostly close to the surface.
