Heck, I paid $50 for a decent jacket from H&M as opposed to paying $300 for a Neiman Marcus brand jacket.

Yeah i truly find it amazingly disturbing... people spend large amounts on abit of material and for the sake of a label theyll pay 95% extra for something worth £10 to make including electric, transport, wages etc.
I saw a pair of Jeans from victoria beckhams clothing range about a week ago, piece of flimsy denim with abit of designer glitter around the pockets you wanna know how much she wanted for it, yes a pair of jeans... £350 can you believe it, thats like $400 i think.. outrageous.

Id rather buy clothes that are of decent price yet have the same quilty as higher branded clothes.. i dont care about pride

Well that's what followers do. They can't have their own style, they have to have what so and so wore on tv the other day. It's crazy. I would never spend a lot of money on clothes. I agree with you. Spend 50 on it instead of spending 300. They go out of style so fast and nobody sees your tag anyway.

I think it is foolish. I'm cheap. I will wear something til it's threadbare, and then replace it with the cheapest item of reasonable quality I can find.
