In my experience it wasn't that bad. I guess it depends on the area you live in, the family you come from and the people you hang around. Fortunately I was raised to look at people as individuals, so those are the kinds of friends that I attracted. The guy I dated was a wonderful person, who just so happen to be White and we're really good friends now. For others I'm sure it can be hard with the name calling and constant stares.

Depends on the person. I never found it hard. Been with my wife for 31 years last month. We live in the deep south of the US.

No difference in my experience , and if you have somebody in mind then stop wondering, just go ahead and ask them out ;)

It used to be terribly difficult, but I hope things have changed to the point where that is no longer true.
