Is industrial model and talent studios a good play to act and learn?

some places are fakes is this a real indusry?
if so which companys do you know of that wont rip me off

There are hundreds of films/videos made every year that the public never sees that are used for industry advertising, traning and motivation. The firms that produce these films are legitimate firms and use local actors. The results are used in trade shows, training in large companies, promotion by offering education to school groups, etc.
Whether any particular company is a rip off can be tested at first sight by asking if they pay you or you pay them. In the latter case, it is buyer beware.
