I was writing this thing for sci. and i deleted the wrong file i am so stupid HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can try using an undelete program. If you don't have one installed already then you will have to find one that can be installed and run from a drive other than your hard drive. (Like a floppy or flash drive) If you have access to another computer install the undelete program on that computer and see if copying the executable onto a flash or cd-rom will work on the computer with the deleted files.
As a last resort if two computers are available , remove the hard drive and install it on a PC with an UNdelete program already installed. Adding the other PC's harddrive as a slave you will then be able to undelete the effected files. Then replace the harddrive in your PC..

Since deleting your files the OS can write to the area which your data previously occupied. So avoid any disk activity such as copying files and installing programs as this activity may over write your deleted data

Check your recycle bin. Click on Start Menu, go to Programs, click on Windows Explorer, and click on Recycle Bin in the window that will come up. Your file should be there. Right-click it and hit "restore."

1. Check the recycling bin.
2. Press ctrl + z (ctrl + z undos your action. )

go to your recycle bin in the far right corner of your computer

Check and see if it's in the rubbish bin, if not use system restore if you deleted it yesterday.

so u deleted it and emptied the recycle bin to ... double trouble hehe ...
