If you have the 360 wireless router, then you don't need the Wi-Fi adapter because the Wii has Wi-Fi capabilities built in, so the Wii should communicate with your wireless router.

I'm guessing that you meant the 360 wireless adapter and not the wireless router. I don't think you can use the Wi USB adapter as an access point for your 360.
