Ok so I have been knowing this guy since last year and we talked every day (@ school, not alot) and he asked me a couple times to go to his house and watch movies (serious or not i dont know) and he said something about meeting my parents at this awards thing we had and then he told one of his friends "hey look thats my girlfriend" and he would always yell my name in the halls and say have a good day. he also would say he loved me but it was more of a statement to everyone in the room, not just to my face.
he had a girlfriend but i think they broke up.
what does all this mean? does he like me? or does he just think i am a friend?

I would say he likes you. Just confront him and ask him if he does. You won't lose anything but you may gain something. I say just ask him.

I was in the same situation and most likely he is hinting for u to ask him out so I would say yes he likes u.

maybe he's just doing that to show that to his ex. that he can find another girl. or he's just showing off to one of his friends. either way, go talk to him about it. dont make it sounds weird, or uncomfortable for him. because he might try to avoid it.
