If you are asking from a legal perspective, unless they were sentenced to death, yes...but they can no longer vote.

If you are asking from a moral standard, everyone has the right to live! A better question might be "under what circumstances do you believe in the death penilty." That to is subjective. So based on the way your question is phrased, "Yes" everyone has the right to live!

Of course in most cases, but if the felony is because of murder where the punishment is death and they are in fact guilty then no they dont have the right to live they gave up that right when they killed someone!

What sort of felony did they commit and was there overwhelming evidence or circumstantial ?

Paul and Karla Homalka - yep hang them - but shouldn't we take things a little more case by case than allowing a band waggon posse to form.
