14. The image is not similar - it keeps the same horizontal dimensions (x), but is resized to by 25% shorter (y). To be similar, both x and y must undergo the same scaling (both would have to be reduced by 25%, for example).

15.) For all 3 of these, simply plug the point into the rule.
a.) (6,8)
x = 6, y = 8, so:
(6,8) -> (6 , (3/4)(8)) = (6, 6)
b.) (9,8) -> (9 , (3/4)(8)) = (9, 6)
c.) (3/2, 4/3) -> (3/2, (3/4)(4/3)) = (3/2, 1).
