i need an obscure but awesome broadway musical song for an audition. It needs to be easy-ish and not really slow.

Okay, thing number one, you can almost bet that there will be other people auditioning with songs from Phantom, Wicked, RENT, and possibly Les Miserables. I could be wrong, but those are some of the most popular musicals there are, so if you want little known, those wouldn't be good.
If you're an older auditioner, Good 'n' Evil, Bring on the Men, Some One Like You, Once Upon a Dream, or A New Life from Jekyll and Hyde would work good, as would On the Steps of the Palace, Stay With Me, or Last Midnight from Into the Woods
If you're a younger auditioner, I Know Things Now from Into the Woods or The Girl I Mean to Be from the Secret Garden would be perfect! Under Attack from Mamma Mia would be good too.
Break a leg!

How about something from Rent?? Very different style to it. Or maybe something from Phantom of the Opera, always a classic. Good luck!!
PS-don't do anything from Grease right now, especially if you are auditioning for Broadway, i'm sure everyone there is rolling their eyes at that show, (though I do have to admit I like the show!) The point is you want to stand out and there will be a ton of Grease songs i'm sure.

If you want an obscure musical that has some great audition songs try "Ruthless!" but, it would be helpful to know what kind of voice you have in order to help you better.

I always liked the song, "Comedy Tonight" from "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum".

If u like wicked I would say Defying Gravity....I auditioned with that song and the highest note I believe is an e flat which isnt too bad if you are an alto.....If you are soprano and want to perform something pretty, then you should perform Wishing You Were Somehow Here again....that song is high and harder, but that and Defying Gravity are my favorites
