My iPod (30 G Video) has scratches all over the front and back. Can I use the same stuff you use to remove scratches on cds? Is there any other solution or house held material I can use to de-scratch it?

for best results use a buffing machine with a clean buffing attachment, one of the softest ones. the hard ones will wreck your ipod. this also works on cd's, mobile phones, watches and other plastic, glass or metal products.

This is very safe an willl not cause damage unless you leave in on there for a long period of time and melt it.

I don't think you can remove the scratches sorry. The chemicals from the scratch removers might mess up the iPod.

somebody reported toothpaste to me to get rid of scratches because it extremely is an extremely effective abrasive. attempt putting somewhat on your finger and rubbing it firmly on the affected section. i can not assure the outcomes yet my mate swears by it. of course avert any electric aspects which you're no longer waiting to bathe/wipe sparkling afterwards.
