cardiovascular (cardio-heart; vascular- blood vessels) system: main function: transport blood throughout the body to provide nourishment, oxygen and transport waste products, hormones
ORGANS directly involved:
heart
arteries
arterioles
capillaries
venules
veins
blood...(not really an organ per se)
arteries and veins are organs because they are made up of 2 or more tissues (smooth muscle tissue, connective tissue, nervous tissue) that allow them to dilate and contract and react to stimuli
lungs are part of the respiratory system
bones produce blood cells but part of the skeletal system

Ok, this is the complete "circuit" of the blood oxygenation.
The blood arrives from the systemic circulation, in the heart by the IVC and SVC in the right atrium --> right ventricle --> pulmonary trunk --> pulmonary artery --> pulmonary arterioles --> capillaries (where the gaseous exchange take place in the alveoli) --> pulmonary venules --> pulmonary vein --> left atrium --> left ventricle --> ascending aorta and back to the systemic circulation.
As for the number of organs involved in the cardiovascular system, the answer would be 2, the lungs and the heart.

Veins/arteries are not organs perse, but are part of the circulatory system.
The circulatory system includes : the heart, all veins, arteries(including arterioles, venules and capillaries). Cardio=heart, vascular=veins/arteries.

easily dancing is seen an anaerobic (anaerobic potential it would not get your heart fee up for a prolonged quantity of time) workout no longer cardio. even however I do dance myself and that i've got self assurance this is cardio to get a stable cardiovascular artwork out run for an prolonged distance or pass on the elliptical gadget and set it on the cardio putting. yet by utilising medical standards it would not count form as cardiovascular yet once you are able to guard a severe heart fee then you could desire to count form it yet by utilising standards this is not any longer.

most simple, the heart because it recieves and pumps bloood. vascular system refers to the circulatory the system-- delieverying blood throughout the body. Lungs exchange co2 and o2 which helps oxygenate blood. Blood supplies to all organs for it to work. Spleen is where RBCs gets destroy, kidneys filters waste and blood and helps produce RBCs...enought said* this too easy, yawn*

You brain tells your heart to beat, your lungs give your blood O2 arteries and veins transport the blood, capillaries hand out the blood, kidneys make blood stimulating factors, bones make blood, nutrients to make blood come from your GI system, i could go on.....

no, they're connected to the heart, but they are just vessels to transpot stuff in, like the lymphatic vessels. they're not considered an organ, but they are part of the organ system
