Chris Webber is not a winner and Webber doesn't show up in critical games and that's what the playoffs are

the pistons can already lose to the cavs, wizards, bulls, and a healthy miami team

need a lot of help to sneak by all of them

It would be a major surprise if the didn't...Chris Webber should have been successful in Sacramento (don't know what went wrong there)...He wasn't great in Philadelphia because playing with a disgruntled Allen Iverson isn't the best thing for a player who wants to prove he's still got it...He has fit in perfectly with the Detroit Pistons.....They have the best chance out of all the teams in the east.

They have the best chance out of the entire east to represent themselves in the finals. Webber will be an X factor for the first time in his career instead of a star player and prove that the role fits him. They are the most experienced playoff team in the east and will coached to win those grueling 7 game playoff series. In short, yes.

Since the only real threats are Chicago and Miami (if Wade can come back...not likely) there is no reason they cant return to the finals. I cant see them beating whoever emerges from the west but the east is so weak that almost by default they are the best team. Chicago isnt experienced enough to win a series against them and without Wade the heat are in deep trouble. No other team is close enough (sorry Cavs fans, they just dont have the parts needed).

Yes. That actually makes it better...They did have a good chance even without Chris Webber...

They had a chance even before they got Webber, now they have a better one. Name who's gonna knock them out in the East? Who? No one. The East is the weakest we've seen it in years.

They have a great chance. Webber has improved their passing and overall as a team they have just played better.

They have a big chance to get to the finals because they are on the eastern conference but not only because of Chris Webber

If you think seriously they have no real rival on that conference

yea, they will make the finals. but in game 7 with a 2 point lead, cwebb will be passed the ball. he will then call a timeout when detroit has used all of their timeouts. he'll get a tech. the opposing team will make the shot, get the ball back and make a field goal when time expires to win the championship. welcome back to michigan chris.
