You will likely ovulate on March 4th. You can, of course, have sex that day but it is also suggested to have sex the couple of days before -which in your case is the 2,3, - the weekend :) It's suggested to have sex before the day of your ovulation because even though an egg is released that day sperm can live longer than an egg. So, it is generally thought to be better to have sperm already inside of you when the egg is released (on the 4th). You can purchase an ovulation kit which will let you know when you are ovulating but you can also try these tips on this website.
Best Wishes!

You count 14 days from the start of your period. Which would be the 3rd of March, then you start having sex 4-5 days before and up to the day of ovulation. Your most fertile days are usually the 3 days prior and at least 1-2 days afterwards. Most women ovulate on the 14th day of their cycle. But anywhere within day 12-14 is normal as well. If you are not successful this time around, I would go immediately and buy a BBT (Basal Body Thermometer) and begin charting your temp. When it drops and then immediately spikes, this is when you ovulate and will give you the exact count of days of your cycle. You can get one of these for like $10 at Walgreens or CVS.

Without knowing how long your cycle is, it's hard to give you any kind of information, other than basic information about ovulation. Ovulation occurs between ten and sixteen days before your period. Most women ovulate the same number of days before menstruation each month, but it's not necessarily 14 days after your period. If you have a 32 day cycle, you'll most likely ovulate somewhere between day 16 and day 22, but if your cycle is 28 days, it'll probably be somewhere between day 12 and day 18. Day 1 of your cycle is the first day of your period.

You can predict when you'll ovulate more accurately by charting your fertility signs like basal body temperature, cervical position/texture and cervical mucous, or by using ovulation predictor kits that are available at most drug stores with the pregnancy tests. You can learn more about charting your cycle from fertilityfriend.com or the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility.

you ovulate 14 days before the start of your next period
if you are trying to conceive start having sex the week before you are set to ovulate (three weeks before the start of your next period) and continue till the day after you ovulate, if you are trying not to get pregnant do not have sex during that time
