its not a major concern --- actually its wonderful as all those people that think shares are a long term investment get involved and those people that consider the share market a short term profit taking will clean up --- the world economies are very strong in the long and short term and unless there is a world wide catastrophe it will come back stronger than ever --- im talking end of the world and i cant see that happening either

Well
You should try with Penny Stocks Trading (you can find more info here: http://pennystocks.toptips.org )

Penny stocks, also known as cent stocks in some countries, are common shares of small public companies that trade at low prices per share.
I've been subscribing to this PennyStock web site for about a year now and have loved the objective advice they give. He really does look for quality stocks and I've made some pretty nice profits on a lot of his suggestions. Being still fairly new to investing I have been dabbling a lot in penny stocks to try and grow my account. I may not have a big account, but it's a lot bigger than it was a year ago. On just one of Nathan's picks this year I managed to make my investment back ten-fold! Be careful! Penny stocks are notoriously risky but if you follow the right method the risk is almost 0. I suggest to invest only little money first and then reinvest the profits. This is the site I'm using: http://pennystocks.toptips.org

What are the effects? Well les see, W will take a lot of heat. Boomers will sell off assets to off set what losses they took in some real estate markets. The price of doing business could rise. The emergency rooms will get busy with anxiety type disorders. Slow down in the jewelry biz, theatre biz, music biz, professional sports will have to back off the high ticket structure. Price of gas could go down, but who cares. Following the money to see who profits, could be the Democratic Party. It could sledge hammer a few million votes their way, you know, it's the economy stupid. Could even be a glitch designed by the Democratic Steering Committe, who knows. The Govt is not able to stop these things, only insure the survivors. No jumping out windows, but a few college kids will have to settle for a used car. They'll be talk of further collapse, and it'll nudge down some, then after the big guys have agreed on the profit margin, hugh amounts of cash will buy up cheap deals on good stock, and the market will go up in a few catagories, a killing will be made, and then the entire affair will be forgotten till next time. Buyer Beware.

Either it continues lower or it goes higher.

Either way, I am buying shares cause I am investing for the long term and not all that concerned about day to day panics.

Good time to buy when things go on sale anyway.

That's the stock market for ya.....it's a roller coaster and I find it to be a buying opportunity....Im not scared.....I don't know why people panic...Stock Market is my play money and the mutual funds (which are better diversified) is my serious money.

I sure hope not. They are saying there was a glitch in the computers at the exchange that made it worst that it was.
