I'd have to say yes it is! Think of all the times you were the last to know something and when you finally found out you felt sick. When you didn't know you were much happier.

In many cases, yes. My neighbor is ignorant of anything outside of her family, she neither knows nor cares. For her it works. She is 88.
Don't be hard on them. They are happy no matter what someone else may think.
