I won't add to the reasons, but I had to wear one and even though every one else at my school had one, I felt humiliated and embarrassed the first day I wore it. I thought it was the ugliest thing I'd ever seen. Once I got used to it though, I LOVED it for all for all of the 'pro' reasons stated.

I am not opposed to nor am I in favor of Uniforms.
They seem like Fascist reminders to me.
I guess there is some reason, the GAP or JayZ stores are too expensive for the common family, or too cheap for the Lifestyles of the others.

You have to wear uniforms because some school districts well.....Make it that way! I would say they want to do that because they think kids these days expose too much but I'm sure that's not true.

actually there are a lot of reasons
one: think about gang colors
two: clothes can represent wealth
three: think about how easy it is for kids to want to wear inapproprieate clothing
four: you can always tell who is with what school
five: it makes you look nicer

you wear uniforms so that everyone will lookk the same so that there won't be any negative comments and so that everyone will follow the dress codes.

many reasons
it takes you shorter time to get ready in the moring
no one can make fun of you for dressing badly
it is cheaper then buying regular clothes
and the principal is tryinng to turn you into their minion of DOOMMMM!!

to look good and because your principal said so like yea not to like look good but like so you wont wear anything to hurt someones feelings written on a short lol

they say that it represents your school..........yeah right they just o that because they dont trust you to wear your type of clothes they probably think you have 2 inch mini skirts and stuff like that just ignore them
