You know I'm black i don't really care what color the President is as long as he is a good president he can be rainbow colored for all I care. No disrespect to you or your question. I just want a better country.
But i do believe we are close we have African Americans in congress but that is only half the battle. And if you are old enough to vote don't vote for someone because of the color of their skin. Vote for them because you have done your research and you believe they will be a good and effective president. I don't think Obama can do that so i am not voting for him if the democrats elect him as the person to run from their party.

Not just any Black person, but an outstanding person like Barack Obama. I will never understand why skin color is so important. Having intelligence, compassion, experience and being relate able is way more important. I want a president regardless of color that really cares about people and doesn't only value the rich and famous like Bush.

I think it's a very real possibility! Barrack has a good head on his shoulders and quiet a blended following!
He's quiet an interesting prospect...I've had the honor of meeting him on several occasions and have always found him to be sensible, well spoken, a good listener, compassionate and determined to get the job done.

How old are you? Much as I'd like to see it, I doubt it's going to happen within the next 20 years. Same for any non-white or non-Christian, 50 years minimum for a religious non-believer. We are a racist, Christian-centric society.

Dont know. How old are you? I mean you dont know when you are gonna die. Lets face it. A plane could crash through your house right now and kill you.
But seriously, i think it is very possible. Probably not someone of the Jessi Jackson mindset, but maybe someone like a Obama.

Why did you put this question under this category? You may see one... it depends on who counts the votes.
