The Society was based on three triers. The first was the Church, The second was the Nobility, the last is everybody else. The Third was Peasants, farmers, and even people that were conceited today as middle class. The government was like Britain. In the Legislative, Each Triers had their own house, each house had one vote. The first and the second always voted the same. The king was not as powerful as everyone thinks.

france had a monarchy before the french revolution. socially only the rich (first estate) benefitted.
