Those who are truly concerned, the Bush Administration notwithstanding, for the future of America should be quite alarmed and concerned because the steep market drop in the United States followed, which is quite significant and far reaching, the sharp decline in the Chinese markets earlier in the day. The United States and Chinese economies are so bonded today that any adverse effect upon one will adversely effect the other. What does that mean?

Because the Bush Administration has squandered a huge surplus inherited from the Clinton Administration upon tax cuts for the rich and financing, with deficit spending, an unjustified war in Iraq, it relies upon foreign investors, namely the Chinese Government, to purchase United States Government Securities for funding and thus keep this country afloat, but for how long? Thus far, the booming Chinese economy has generated sufficient surpluses allowing it to invest in United States Securities. Now that the Chinese economy has cooled, it no longer has the surplus funds which in effect leaves the United States Government on the brink of insolvency or commonly known as bankruptcy. No one addresses this issue, not even the news media which is in effect a mouthpiece for whatever spin the Bush Administration wants to put on this issue.

The Chinese Government is the largest purchaser of United States Securities and without it the economic future of this country is in grave danger. No other country can replace China as the supplier of funds to finance the George Bush deficit. Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, neither of whom are fans of George Bush, addressed this issue approximately two years ago but nobody was listening.

We've all been too busy listening to the Bush Administration's plans on bringing democracy to Iraq.
