i dont know computers are used everywhere
i told my teacher that
she said you need 2 be more specific

Cash Register, Lottery Machine, Credit Card Machine, Fax Machine, Gas Pumps, Scanners, Cell phones, PDA, Ipod, etc Just try to think if you went some place what they would use.

You of course are correct. Computers are used just about everywhere these days. Here is a brief list for you to consider.

1.) Computers are used in Schools as teaching and learning tools. Research of school projects. Learning of, and development of computer skills.

2.) The Internal Revenue Service uses computers to compute and track tax returns.

3.) Hospitals use computers for patient records, research, diagnostic and some surgical procedures.

4.) Computers are used in many households for an array of things. Chatting, downloading music, research, home business etc...

5.) Most businesses use computers for everything from payroll, tax reporting, inventory control, ordering, shipping tracking etc...

Just pick some of the specific ones that are "everywhere" and write about them, or list them or do whatever you have to do. One example would be a cash register at a grocery store.
