The government can't protect American jobs because we are a capitalistic society and those in production have the duty to find a source of labor that will maximize their profits.

Why sould an employer pay a lazy American $8.00 and hour for half-*** work when they can pay an employee overseas $4.00 an hour and get a better product. This is the same concept when you talk about illegals taking American Jobs. The illegals are wrong for being here, but employers know that most of the time they get an honest day's work for an honest day's pay.

Many American industries (car, iron, manufacturing) have literally put themselves out of work by demanding more and more pay and benefits. Back in the day, employers were jerks and something needed to be done. But the problem is that unions and employees went too far the other way and now employers are looking for alternative labor options.

I asked this white dude to mow my yard and he wanted $40 and complained because he was charging his rock bottom price. So, I had this Mexican dude do my yard of $25 and he was happy to do the job with a smile on his face. This is but a little example of what I'm talking about.

So, bottom line, its not all the government's fault. Its partly the fault of employees who have little allegiance to an employer and want nothing but maximum benefits, high pay, more vacation time.

Sometimes when you ask a question, you don't want to hear the answer.

The government doesn't care about the people - they are bought and paid for by the corporations.

The reason American jobs are going away is because we want to buy our crap cheaper and cheaper at Wal-Mart. As stockholders we expect huge profits, so companies are looking for ways to increase profits while keeping costs to a minimum.

On the other end of course, there is the endless greed of top corporate executives. How do you justify a CEO's salary being 500 times the average worker?

But it's not just them, it's greed on all levels, coupled with apathy.
Where is the outrage? Nothing will change until we stand up and do something instead of expecting someone else to fix it.

it extremely is unquestionably very centred economics. particular, outsourced hard artwork is achievable to american jobs, in spite of the undeniable fact that, by outsourcing the hard artwork so affordably, products that we purchase cost an awful lot much less. without outsourcing, it does no longer rely if the wages stayed the comparable because of fact the expenditures of production might bypass up and each thing you desire to purchase might cost greater. the two way, with the area we are in now with the conflict, there are no undemanding solutions. the yankee financial gadget is moving to a provider financial gadget. In any marketplace, amenities are the 1st issues to bypass. the only people who can handle to pay for them are the rich. i'm no longer asserting outsourcing is powerful. we've adequate organic supplies here interior america to by no potential commerce with yet another u . s . a . back. yet coming up this u . s . a . right into a provider financial gadget will help divide the classes for people who've an pastime in doing so. the yankee center type is dissapearing.

Because multinational corporations have spent the last 20 years convincing the American public that they do not deserve a living wage. They have perpetuated the idea that all American workers are lazy and those who want higher pay or better benefits are spoiled brats.

They have convinced the easily duped American public that businesses have a right to use slave labor.

Because protectionism is not the cure for what ails us. Additionally, labor unions should just accept their fate and the fact that they have outlived their usefulness. They will go the way of the dinosaur.
