none. Like all kids, some kids are deeply affected by it, and some could care less.

Kids are kids. You never know what's going to bother them.
I was seriously discussing this with my students today. I mentioned that when I was a kid, I always was jealous of adopted kids because their parents "chose" them instead of getting stuck with a kid when maybe they didn't want one. One of my students spoke up and said she was adopted and she felt that way too.

None - my students that are adopted exhibit the same range of characteristics and skill levels as those which are not adopted.

the full range of characteristics, just like other kids. I've had kids in my class who were abused by their real parents and then adopted. These kids have the same emotional problems as you'd expect. Other kids who were adopted excel.

we aren't normally privilaged to this information, unless the kid tells us. it's not like they have a special file. honestly, i have never known if a student was adopted or not.
