Okay sorrry to everyone, my yahoo answers is not working right. Its saying my questions arent working when i send them!! But...
I am 35 weeks pregnant. For the past few weeks i get really bad lower stomahce pains like contractions. I usualy run to the bathroom and the will go away about 10 minutes later. I dont know why it does this but i guess im used to it. well last night I experienced really bad lower back pains. Nothing i experienced before that i just wanted to scream and i became really tight. This happened 3 times and then it stopped ( @ 330 in the morning ) I fell asleep woke up @ 7.. same thing again. Then @ 930. It just keeps coming and going. I have been exhausted & dizzy. Im having such a hard time doing much, like my babies laundry.. I feel a lot of pressure a lot more latlely in my lower stomache and in my bottom? What do you think is going on?

Your baby is getting into position. You feel pressure and pain because his or her head is desending into the birth canal. If this is your first baby you probably have nothing to worry about yet..takes a while for the little ones to come on out.

Sit down relax take a load off worry about laundry later....this is your last chance for a long time to get some shut eye!!

Your body is getting ready for labor, you are starting to have contractions, could be Braxton Hicks. If the pain continues call the doctor you could be in labor and you don't know it. Also you have got to take it easy you are getting close to that time and not everyone goes full term and you may be one of those ones who go in labor early. Again I would say to make a doctor's appt or bring it up at the next one you should be seen every week now, so let your doctor know what happening.

You could be in labor, or getting very close.

I was told that I should go to the hospital when the contractions were consistently 5 minutes apart, and one minute long, for at least one hour.

Have your waters broken? Have you lost your mucus plug (bloody show - where there's a lot of snot and blood on the toilet tissue or in your underwear)? If either of these have happened, you want to go to the hospital. If not, you might schedule an extra appointment with your OB, just to check up on everything.

Good luck!
