Steve Coppell of Reading will win the Premiership manager of the season as he has guided Reading to the top half of the table with a quarter of the season still left to play.

Steve Coppell from Reading as they are playing BEAUTIFUL football!!! Being a Chelsea fan, I'd love to see Jose win it, but I think Steve has been far and away the best manager this season. I think that he might even be able to guide them to Europe this season!!!

Coppell's Reading have gotten a number of wins and draws despite being a little less talented than their opponents (on a consistent basis) and having a rather generous defense but they stay inspired which has to be so much to his credit.
I look forward to watching these guys play and getting results despite being a little undermanned - and their (his) style doesn't seem conservative, resorting to "negative football" against the great teams. Against Chelsea, they played (a little too) fierce and against Arsenal they got torched...but at least they don't bog it down to get a 0-0 result ever. I think they (he) should be commended for it...and they are getting results despite giving up so many goals.
And it seems that when Reading faces adversity, they retain their inspiration instead of seeming prematurely defeated. He would seem to have to be the main reason.

Steve Coppel. He has done wonders with Reading. Lets just hope he doesnt do a Wigan next season. Briliant on debut season but relegation candidates the next.

Whatever team wins the title will also have the manager of the year. Its has always been like this, very rarely do you see it go to someone else. So on that i would say at the moment it looks like sir alex ferguson

Who will win it? Alex Ferguson - Turn round winning the prem - can't argue with that - will be public choice but stevey deserves to win!

Sir Alex Ferguson.
The reason? You mean you need one? Man U are the favourites of the people who pick these things, so even if there has been a better manager then he will win it even if they don't win the title because they have spent the most weeks at the top of the table.
