I am beginning to feel VERY odd. I was born in South Korea but adopted into a white family. But I'm kind of fascinated with japanese culture. I can speak english and I've been trying to learn japanese, I can't speak korean. I know it's not good to get all mixed up with all of this ethnicity stuff but I sometimes feel like I should be trying to make myself want to learn more about korean culture or something... Is that weird?

No honey, you should learn as much as you like about Japanese culture and the language. Maybe you can travel there someday.
Best wishes to you.
