The Odyssey, The movie OH GOD Where are't thou is a spoof of the Odyssey it's very entertaining. The Illiad is pretty slow in comparison.

the Iliad is first. The Odyssey is second. I read the Iliad last year in 7th grade and I liked it though the print was way too small!!!

Try 'The Iliad' first - I suggest the most recent Penguin edition (2003), translated by E.V. Rieu, updated and revised by Peter Jones with D.C.H. Rieu. It has a picture of warriors holding shields in stone, with a black cover and HOMER in orange letters.
