ipod charging computer problem?

for some reason my ipod shuffle wont connect to my computer so I can upload music and ect, it does charge and light up, but it wont connect

If you are plugging your Ipod into a usb hub, try plugging it into a port on your computer. This problem is caused by the device drawing more power than the hub can supply. I've seen this roblem with both ipods and some usb flash drives.

It might be dry so let it sit and charge for a few minutes, then it will show up.
