it dose not require gloves to catch the ball
the batman must concentrate a long time to bat a good innings

Cricket is a World Game Just Like Football(soccer) buddy.

Real men play cricket, Cricket Ball is harder, We dont wear Oven Mits to catch a ball, like they do in baseball, we dont put our players in "hall of fame" for making bare handed grabs lol.. Bowler is allowed to Attack the batter (head to toe all fair game), on avg fast bowlers clock around 88-95mph

in cricket you have to be physically fit, must have endurance, stamina and mental toughness.
baseball = strength and speed (in mlb which is usually increased by taking growth hormone substances), thats why u see tons of overweight players in baseball, where else can u find a game where even a 40+ year old "fat" geezer have a huge market values, a game where u have to sit in a dug out after 5-10 min innings, chew tobacco, wear tight pants, come up to bat and make couple of swings and then head back into your dug out.

i do tip my hat to the infielders they are pretty quick with those double play and have decent arms, but rest of the players on a baseball team dont even look like athletes.

I suppose it's a matter of different opinion really. Both games have similarities - a batting team and a fielding team, scoring runs, etc. And both are interesting and exciting games to play and watch.

As an Aussie, I would have to say that I personally love and prefer cricket, having grown up with it and watched it all my life.

No question about it. How many American know what the rules for Cricket are. Baseball is much more simple.

It's hard to take any American sport seriously, the whole thing revolves around the $$$ try watching any American Sport ™© and see how many ad breaks, I mean time outs there are. To commercialised for my liking.
