What did youtube do!?

They closed down the application directors fill out for making vids more than 10 minutes,Why?

It's their own take on lesseing piracy.

Since a lot of people upload primarily pirated material in Youtube (Such as TV series, movies, YES THEY ARE ILLEGAL TO UPLOAD IN SUCH WEBSITES.) , they have lessened it in order to discourage posting full movies, since a 2 hour movie will now need to be cut into 12 parts.

i think it was because they don't want long videos on the site - too much space taken up....
