I know how you feel (check out my recent question, I'm still in unrequited love with mine), but just act like it doesn't phase you AT ALL. Play up your best qualities (e.g. if you're really funny try to make everyone around you laugh, if you're caring try to help people in his life). Most guys like this, and you may find him chasing you. If not, he was an idiot in he first place for thinking that he could break up wit u and not regret it ;)!

Well you got to remember why he is your ex. And if you can think you can get passed all that then Talk to him about getting back together. just be careful and smart about things.
