dave and Busters, South Street, Penns Landing, Love park. It all really depends on what area of the city they live in these are all center city locations.

there's much less now, it seems, than when i was a kid
obvious choices i'm sure you've already included are malls. here in the northeast, they're infested with 'emo' children
but in south city, they don't seem to know what emo means
but typically, it's anywhere that's free, that allows them to gather. such as playgrounds, after around five or six, when smaller children no longer need them.
due to the rapid growth of the online world these last few years, teens, who can't get in many places due to their age, are sticking to the online world in various websites, like myspace.com

i personally like walking around the walnut/chesnut street area. its very fun to shop (and even window shop when you run out of money!). its also nice because there are restaurants and coffee shops. plus, its easy for suburban kids and kids from other parts of the city to reach by train because suburban station is near there.
another place that is popular is south street. i think that teens like how different and (in its own way) trendy it is. the cheap stores, thrift stores, little food stops all make south street appealing to teens. its also fun just to watch the people on south street ; ) http://www.southstreet.com/
dave and busters is also popular.
hope this helps!

south street is very popular. The gallery (which is the mall) has a lot of kids that hang out after school.

It would definitely be the Gallery at 9th and Market. Or... The Love park at 15th and J.K. Kennedy. And around there
