I am thinking of getting a lip peircing. 1. Girls: do you think it looks good/bad on guys? 2. How long does it take to heal? 3. Any stories of getting one and how it went with your coworkers?

I honestly hate peircings anywhere from the nose below. Very yucky.
However, whatever floats your boat because you have to wear it and some people can pull it off. I say take a small hoop that is adjustable (you can get them anywhere), or magnetic earring and put in the spot where you want the piercing and wear it for a few days, see the reaction and see how it looks then make your decision.
Oh yeah I think it's about 6-8 weeks for healing AND WAIT the 6-8 weeks before you change it. A good idea is to get the one you really like so you don't get tired of seeing it.
Oh yeah, don't forget that most jobs dont allow them

I've seen several guys with a lip piercing and honestly the ones that had the ring closer to the lip looked really nice. I don't know how long it takes to heal but that also depends on how well the person takes care of the area.

I think it's super hot on guys! But I do think that it really depends on the kind of person you're trying to attract. I have had several lip piercings, both sides of my lip (snake bites) and a monroe. I
ve had to take them all out, and get some or all re-done, due to jobs. As far as infections go, I've never had an infection, but you do have to clean your piercing every day until it heals, and I dont recommend kissing until at least a few days after you get it pierced. studs or hoops look good, but if you're going to get a hoop, get one that fits, have it sized to your lip.

I think it looks ok on a guy, but I wouldnt want to kiss a guy with a lip peircing...it would get in the way and could be painful.

To be super honest, i don't think lip rings are all that hot. I mean, you stand a chance of it getting infected, and then it just looks nasty. And then theres the kissing thing. I mean i would be scared to kiss a guy with a lip ring. But maybe that's only me?

Honestly, I don't find it attractive at all that guys have piercings. Neither do my girlfriends.....they all agree with me. I hate to say this but when people Peirce their lips....most people tend to pass judgment on them....and stereotype. I don't agree with most but I do agree that it's not professional nor attractive! I promise...I don't care if you look like Brad Pitt....if you have a lip ring.....I'll pass. Sorry sweetie...I'm just being honest with you! :)

First, i propose you to no longer be making out with absolutely everyone for a minimum of the 1st 2 weeks of having the piercing. specifically because of the fact your physique is making an attempt to heal the piercing and particular having to combat off adequate micro organism already. once you kiss somebody, that guy or woman's micro organism is going to flow to the section. in any case...i've got on no account kissed absolutely everyone with a lip ring yet i've got kiss with a lip ring. i've got worn a stud in my lip for 75% of the two years of having my lip pierced and that on no account gets interior the way, from what I undergo in thoughts, the hoop rarely have been given interior the way besides. i've got on no account had lawsuits from the adult men i've got kissed...some have even stated they prefer kissing me with a stud in my lip.

ok, well i can only answer the first question....lip peircing for ANYONE is disgusting! it looks really bad, and you can't talk right with it. it also messes up your bottom teeth...please don't get it!! its a real turnoff for girls...an ear peircing isn't as bad, but i always thought that natural looked best

It's ******* hot! My one guy friend has a lip ring and it looks really good. And from what he said, it didn't take too long to heal.

I don't mind most piercings, but I think the lip ones look stupid on guys and girls........
