Hmm... When I first met the girl that would become one of my best friends through the years, she was sort of "big" compared to the standard of a girl that age. We used to make fun of how she walked and called her horrible names. Then, I began hanging out with her and realized that she had been abused when she was younger, therefore, gaining weight was her escape from it, and the thoughts in her mind. Also, she was very willing to help anyone and everyone, and often put herself on the back burner to help me and our other friends. I learned that she was a true friend.

I used to always assume that people are good, no matter what they look like, how they talk etc. Then I met a couple of child murderers and now I don't 'prejudge people to be nice. Judgment is when you use evidence - appearance, manner etc to form a decision, I think that's an important life skill.

I worked in an army warehouse in Korea. One of the Korean workers seemed very grouchy and mean all the time. I just avoided him.

Turned out he was just trying to be funny.
