OK, so waaaaaaay back in the past, males were the dominant gender while females were the weak damsels in distress who only existed to cook, clean, keep the house clean and have babies. Now, in modern times, women are fighting back and claiming power. But a lot of the time, women can say what they want about men, yet if men make comments about women, they're either called sexist pigs, perverts, woman-beaters, or a combination of the three. Women fought for equal rights, but it's not happening even now! Will the two genders ever truly be equal, or are we doomed to a repeating cycle of one gender dominating over the other?

No, and we'd be foolish to think otherwise.

Men and women are different even though Rosie Odonnel does not think so. Men are stronger than women yet women want to be firemen and policemen. I worked at a welding pipe making factory 25 years ago and they had a coupld women that worked in ther just to fill a quota. They could not do nearly what a man could and were just there to look good on paper. If men and women were equal, why isn't the NFL filled with 50% woman- or any other sport for that matter?

No gender roles will never be equal as long as your idea of equal is in terms of money, property and legality. Women are already more advantaged than men in many respects but society refuses to recognise these roles as relevant.

I'd rather be a mother than a corporate fatcat and I also consider my role to be more relevant and important in terms of the propagation of the species. All depends on your perspective really.

"Gender equality," is that code for the breaking down of roles and responsibilities as to create gender confusion? How far does it have to go to be equal? Certainly men and women with the same qualifications in the same job should make the same money, but the feminist agenda goes too far.

Because of our biological differences, men and women will never be able to do all the same jobs. In other respects, I think we can achieve gender equality.

Men and women are both equal in status but since God created man's system and woman's system differently.... they have different roles, strengths and tendencies.... No one is better than other.... one can't do without the other.... I am not speaking just interms of reproduction.... man and woman complement in many things in life and that's why we have the institution called marriage and that's why I hate gays....

I think equality might be too inclusive a term and we should strive for mutual respect between the sexes. This I think can be accomplished.much easier than equality and will be a reality in a few years.

You know, I think that if anyone says something about another person its wrong. It doesnt matter what sex you are. People think that us girls are "pretty little delicate flowers". All I got to say to that is man you have not seen us pissed. We fight like the devil himself. some people buy into that crap. We can do stuff just as well as men, just with out the pecs and stuff

It will be close but most likely never exactly equal. After all men are strong in some ways and women are strong in others. In this respect they are equally strong.

Well, just like every other kind of inequality, it will exist until enought people get tired of it and truly demand change.
