Marie Antoinette, who tried to change French fashion from the huge skirts and stiff corsets worn at the time to simpler muslin dresses. It flopped horribly--a lot of people joked that she must have forgotten to put her dress on over her slip. She definitely needed some advice on that one.

this is a key problem with feminism. women in history (and the present) cannot simply be defined by their achievements, slants and comments must be made regarding their clothing, hairstyle and make-up. this vain banter demeans what they have achieved.

My teacher! lol I am sorry. That is sooo harsh, but she wears poofy hair and a pea- green blazer with a rainbow tee underneath.
