Lets assume for a moment that VP Cheney had been killed today, and before Pres Bush could nominate a new VP the President died of a Heart attack or whatever. That would mean that Nancy Pelosi would become President. I know I would lose sleep over that horrific scenario, anybody else?

Oh my goodness! Seeing that stretched out face addressing the nation makes me want to scream. Her shaking, and that thing she does with her lips really freaks me out too. Not to mention, any woman that is for the murder of innocent, unborn children is just down right evil. You're so right. What a nightmare!

I thought so at first two, but no Bush appoints a new VP. Bush and Cheney both have to be gone before their terms are up for Pelosi to be President.

Ms. Pelosi would lose more sleep than you would. She doesn't want to be President. She could probably handle the job for the interum until the 08 elections pick another but it is a good thing your story is hypothetical.

Well let's see, Would she cause the price of gas to double or cause three thousand American troops to be buried or tens of thousands of citizens of another country that never threatened America to be buried.
