Short huh? :p *lol* Ok, I'll see what I can do...
"The second thing Bradley Poe felt in his life, ever, was frustration. He had thrown away his childhood, teenage years, working in school and struggling outside of it since his parents divorced when he was ten years old, all to 'get a life'. All to take by force the education that public schools weren't really inclined to give him, to prove over and over and over again that he was good enough....that he wasn't too fat or ugly or stupid....
He fought against multiple mood disorders and survived multiple harrowning beatings as he grew up, in a thwarted, halting sort of way...up until the day he turned 40 he fought against his failures, the Bachelor's Degree he had earned, but that student loan issues had kept from him, against the ruins of the local drop-in center he had got off the ground, and co-managed for nearly three years before the control freaks ruined it....against one falied attempt to get published after another.
He fought it....but the day after he turned 40...he just couldn't take it anymore. So he quit. He gave up, stopped blaming himself for being put up against a reality, a society, a so-called human race that did everything it could to beat him down. Why?
Because the first thing, the *First* thing Bradley Poe had ever felt in his life....was rejection. Was reality itself saying 'no' to everything about his existence. One of his first memories in life was of his own mother holding him at *arm's length* as if he were truly too ugly or too dirty to touch.
And he just finally got tired of people rejecting him for no reason.
But....the miracle is not that he held out so long....the miracle is that he's *given up*, so he says, and yet, he's not a super-villain, not an abuser, not some thug who just randomly attacks people...
Unless of course, you consider unprovoked spasms of wordiness an 'attack'. Which many do."
There....how's that? In short.....someone who really *would* be more of a hero and ought to be given all he's survived....but the world and the people in it won't give him a fair chance. Ever.

The small, cr@ppy memoried, fantasy reading, chocaholic, brightly lit, documentary watching chef enjoys playing dodgeball, but mostly it's just dodging.
Throughout the course of her life- scratch that, throught the6th grade, she had always been called "mouse" "elf" "midget" and in some cases "stypid little monkey!", in which cases she calmly replied, often inserting several swears.
Of course, they gave up doing so after she was taller than 4 other people in the grade whowere a fair deal smaller than her. There might have been a small chance that they realised that she she kicked very hard and used many interesting weapons (mostly pencils) to poke them with, aswell as the fact that she left several nails slightly jagged for a certain purpouse.
She twitches her ankles for no apparant reason, sometimes to music, most of the time to the silent hum of the radiator (that might be an oxymoron if that's what you call it)
She has done several insane things, such as trimming her eyelashes since they pushed against her glasses. She hoped no one would noticed but to her dismay, they later told her that her eyelashes were the envy of all the women in the family. That was the part where she muttered a swear under her breath.
Perhaps the only reason she liked family gatherings at her hosue other than ocasionally presents were to show off her piano skills, which she was quite proud of.
Can't think of a conclusion, but...

Sarah enters the crowded room, makes a beeline for the corner and sits silently, observing the other guests.
Her dark hair is offset by her pale skin and blue eyes, her left foot twitching as she sits and stares. Her athletic, yet shapely body warrants attention from many a keen eye, yet she has eyes only for her one true love. Her mind is wiser than the 22 years she has been on this earth, her memories filled with happiness, sadness and contentment.
