My favorite pet was my raccoon. Her mother got shot out on a ranch and they found her a week later up a tree. The poor thing. When I got her she fit in the palm of my hand, had no teeth, and had just opened her eyes. Her name was Sunshine and she was just a darling. The winter that she was all grown up (winter after she was given to me) she went out on her own. She was just the coolest.

My favorite pet is a frog. For some reason they just make me have a good feeling inside when I'm around one. That's why I have one of them! Gerbils are another pet I like! They are so cute, and very friendly! Gerbils are a lot better than other nasty rodents in my opinion. My last favorite is a chameleon. I think they are very cool. I love how they look! I have one and think they act cool but you need experience to care for a chameleon!
Anyways, about your squirrels. I think some places in the USA and other countries allow you to purchase flying squirrels as pets. I'm not completely positive though! Try talking to a local Pet Store, animal shelter, mayor, animal activist, etc. They might be able to help you. I'm sure it would help!
Good Luck in the Near Future to You!

I've had all kinds of pets, and I still like dogs the best. If you want a squirrel, look into getting a sugar glider. They are really neat.

Well I have two favorite pets. A horse and a dog. I started really noticing how loyal dogs are when I was little. I have a Golden Retriever and she was more like a best friend and mother then just a dog. Horses are very beautiful, smart animals. Just something really draws me to them and always have.
