Because they want to put it "behind" them.

I don't get that either...it just leave the person behind them to figure out how old that person was when they died. That's what I do anyway. But it's not an obituary, it's a memorial.

Hello, from Texas. I have never seen that here. There are crosses to indicate where a life was lost in an accident... but, no automobiles' obits. Where might you be from?? I do find that pretty strange.... and morbid. Maybe it is a new trend. Sure hope not !!! Very cheesy!

That is not an obituary you twit. An obituary not only lists their name, dates of birth and death, but additional family, interests, contributions, employment, memorial, etc. How the hell would you fit that on a window? And until you've lost someone close to you, don't judge-until then, enjoy your Nascar logo, Ford logo, Baby on Board logo or whatever you have on your window, moron.

I think its to honor the person they have lost - most likely in a car crash - and to make others be more careful drivers. It works on me more than the road side memorials of flowers and teddy bears.

I've never heard of that, but maybe that person died in a car accident and the owner of that car is trying to tell other people to be more careful when driving.
I like that idea.

Same reason they place certain bumper stickers they love on their car?-(I've never seen obituaries on a car!)

I once seen one on a billboard. I thought that was a little odd.
I have never seen one on a car.

The same reason they make roadside memorials, I suppose.

Naw, its just their way of gaining "moving object" points.....
If the person flinches before being hit , the driver is deducted 2 points for not going fast enough !!!!..............LOL
