I noticed a lot of people who are proud to be white have brown eyes? I was wondering if they are even white. Don't take it the wrong way, I'm really curious about it. Thanks.

Yes, they can be 100% white, if anyone really is.

Skin pigmentation occurs in a range, not a dichotomy (black vs. white). Even if you intended "ethnicity" or "heritage" when you said people were proud to be a certain way, there are no real percentages to speak of because the physiological characteristics "assigned" to a given ethnicity are socially defined by the language we speak and the words available to describe them. In many non-English languages, physiological attributes are categorized quite differently, and people are grouped accordingly.

As far as the genetic link between eye color and skin pigmentation, I'm pretty sure there's not link. Brown is the dominant allele (to blue or green for example) when it comes to the genetics of eye color, so it's no surprise that there are many more people with brown eyes.

If anyone is TOTALLY WHITE, then they have some pigment problems..maybe heavy sunblock/a day in the tanner? My eyes are brown..that's why my avatar has the snazzy shades! So you can't see how full of "it" I am! What exactly is color anyway? Another way to segregate mankind into different groups? Well, eye color is not an issue..I've met some "overly proud white folk" who had blue, hazel, AND GREEN EYES.

It is based on classification not eye color.
The Caucasian race (sometimes called the Caucasoid race) is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as, "relating to a broad division of humankind covering peoples from Europe, western Asia, Middle East, parts of India and North Africa" or "white-skinned; of European origin" or "relating to the region of the Caucasus in SE Europe."[1]

In Europe (especially in Russia and the surrounding area), Caucasian usually refers exclusively to people who are from the Caucasus region or speak the Caucasian languages.

Yes...white people can have brown eyes. Black.hispanic people can have green or blue eyes. My MIL has green eyes and shes 100% puertorican.

You forget that everyones race HAS been intermarried in the past, with people going to new lands and etc..

In this age, nobody is 100% "white" or 100% black, purple, blue or whatever. Just because a baby has blue eyes doesn't mean it was a "blue baby".

Hitler considered "the superior white race" to be blonde and blue-eyed - of which he was neither. Go figure

Are blondes stupid if they ask such an idiotic question???
First of all, why would anyone be proud of what color their skin is? Aren't we all human beings created equally in the eyes of God? If I were green, it really wouldnt matter.. or if I was black, or white, or asian, or hispanic. Accept what you are for WHO you are, not what you look like on the outside!! Be proud of youre persona not your skin!!!! Some people say if your eyes are brown you're full of crap?? I don't believe such nonsense.
Your question leads me to believe you have serious issues...my advice...go seek help IMMEDIATELY!!!!

I've been to Mexico and seen white people... meaning they are Mexican but have natural blonde hair, green eyes and ligth skin... does that make them white? Im not sure...

I dont think the color of your eyes should matter when considering if someones white or not!

You can be white and have brown eyes and brown hair. You don't have to be blonde haired and blue eyed to be white. Unless you live in the hilter era.
